Lavender essential oil can help alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia
Lavender essential oil, a Mediterranean herb, is one of today's favorite scents; floral, herbal and sweet in nature. It can be found in a myriad products, such as bath oil and salts, body lotions, and creams just to name a few.
Lavender oil has many properties, certainly the best known is decreasing stress by promoting relaxation. Other properties include -

Lavender oil is nontoxic and will, generally, not irritate or sensitize the skin, although some have reported a rash (contact dermatitis) when applied directly to the skin. If a rash is noted, after application to the skin, discontinue use.
