Dealing with chronic pain on your road to curing fibromyalgia is key
Chronic pain IS fibromyalgia. You live with it daily. I did too, until I was able to break the daily cycle of aches and pains and cure my fibromyalgia.
I used to say that the muscle pain, that ebbed and flowed, was like having the flu all the time, or that my whole body felt like I had a constant toothache from head to toe.
But, regardless of how I tried to explain the pain that I carried in my body, all over my body, day-in and day-out, I knew, that those who did not live with fibromyalgia, had no way of understanding what I was going through.
If you are suffering daily from this debilitating syndrome, then I know we understand each other very well right now.
The pain of fibromyalgia is all consuming.
You can't sleep, can't focus and it is difficult to do the simplest of tasks...those tasks that were taken for granted before this syndrome took over your life. Writing your signature, turning the door knob, walking across the room - all become daunting tasks.
The pain can come and go, increase and decrease in intensity. It can move from one part of your body one day, and then the next day, move somewhere else. It is confusing, frustrating and every-challenging.
Chronic pain takes over your life, your thoughts and every breath you take.
More often than not, prescription and over the counter pain medications do not help.
Daily chronic pain and intermitent aches and pains can include:
